Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 12 June 2026
Important: Digital assets, including stablecoins, involve significant risks. Please read this disclosure carefully before using ICUSD, ICEUR, or any other service provided by Infinnity Lab Ltd. This document does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.
1. General Risk
The use of stablecoins and blockchain-based financial products carries inherent risks that may result in the loss of some or all of your funds. Past performance of any digital asset is not indicative of future results. You should only use funds you can afford to lose and should seek independent professional advice before engaging with our products.
2. Peg Stability Risk
While ICUSD and ICEUR are designed to maintain a stable 1:1 peg to the US Dollar and Euro respectively, no stablecoin mechanism can guarantee absolute price stability under all market conditions. Extreme market stress, liquidity crises, or systemic failures could cause temporary or sustained deviations from the intended peg. The Constant Price Impact Ratio (CPIR) mechanism mitigates but does not eliminate this risk.
3. Collateral Risk
ICUSD is backed by a dual-locking mechanism consisting of fiat reserves and ICEUR digital asset collateral. ICEUR is backed by ICUSD collateral held in smart contracts. While this structure provides over-collateralization, the value and liquidity of collateral assets may be affected by market conditions, counterparty risk, or changes in the regulatory environment.
4. Smart Contract Risk
Our stablecoins operate on smart contracts deployed on public blockchains including Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, and others. Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or exploits that could result in loss of funds. While we work with institutional partners and conduct audits to minimize this risk, no smart contract can be guaranteed to be entirely free of vulnerabilities.
5. Blockchain and Network Risk
The blockchains on which ICUSD and ICEUR operate may experience outages, forks, reorganizations, high network congestion, or other technical failures. These events could delay or prevent transactions from being processed. Infinnity Lab Ltd. has no control over the underlying blockchain protocols.
6. Regulatory Risk
The regulatory landscape for digital assets and stablecoins is evolving rapidly. New laws, regulations, or guidance from governments or regulatory authorities in any jurisdiction could adversely affect our ability to operate, the legal status of ICUSD and ICEUR, or your ability to use, hold, or transfer these tokens. We operate under BVI law but serve global users subject to their own local regulations.
7. Custodial and Counterparty Risk
Fiat reserve assets are held with institutional banking partners. There is a risk that these counterparties could become insolvent, freeze assets, or otherwise fail to meet their obligations. We select partners carefully and work with The Network Firm to provide transparency, but cannot fully eliminate counterparty risk.
8. Liquidity Risk
In periods of market stress, there may be insufficient liquidity to redeem ICUSD or ICEUR at par value promptly. While our over-collateralization model is designed to support redemptions, extraordinary circumstances could impair liquidity. Users should not rely on immediate redemption availability in all scenarios.
9. Cybersecurity Risk
Our platforms and your personal wallets may be targets for hacking, phishing, malware, or other cyberattacks. You are responsible for securing your own private keys and wallet credentials. Infinnity Lab Ltd. will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Loss of private key access results in permanent, irrecoverable loss of funds.
10. Oracle Risk
Our CPIR mechanism and proof-of-reserve infrastructure rely on Chainlink oracle networks to provide real-time price and collateral data. Oracle failures, delays, or manipulation could impact the accuracy of reserve data or the functioning of the minting and burning mechanism. We mitigate this by using a decentralized, institutional-grade oracle network.
